Lieutenant Tony Branham retired from the Sheriff’s Office after 26 years of service, according to an April 8 announcement.
Branham’s retirement marks the end of a long career in law enforcement. His tenure is noted for his progression through several ranks and receipt of multiple awards.
Branham began his career as a Corrections Officer in 2000. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2008 and later to Lieutenant in 2017. Throughout his time at the Sheriff’s Office, he completed numerous trainings and received various honors, including two Good Conduct awards, a Ready Commendation, the Executive Education award, Promotion of Grade, and several letters of commendation.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked Branham for his dedication and commitment over the years. The office also extended well wishes for his retirement and future endeavors.
Branham’s departure highlights the impact that long-serving officers can have on their departments through both leadership roles and professional recognition.
