The Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Laboratory Services at 601 State Street in Downtown Utica is extending its weekend hours. The changes will be effective from Saturday, March 1, 2025. The laboratory is located adjacent to the Wynn Hospital.

Lab services are accessible for both walk-ins and appointments, with online scheduling available via MyChart for MVHS patients. Current operating hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Starting March 1, the lab will also be open on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a lunch break closure from noon to 12:30 p.m.

MVHS Lab provides clinical and pathology services, conducting most tests at the Wynn Hospital’s advanced laboratory facilities. It collaborates with Mayo Clinic’s Mayo Medical Laboratories to offer a wide range of laboratory tests and clinical expertise.
