The Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Foundation, together with WKTV NewsChannel 2, will host a special one-day event on Monday, September 29, 2025. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Curtis Lumber in New Hartford. Staff will be present to accept cash, checks, and credit cards for $100,000 Miracle Drawing raffle tickets. Proceeds from the ticket sales support the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program at MVHS.

A total of 4,500 tickets are available for the drawing, with fewer than 700 remaining as of this announcement. Each ticket costs $100 and can be purchased with cash or check at various locations including AmeriCU Credit Union branches (except North Utica), Chanatry’s Hometown Market, Countryside Stove & Chimney, Curtis Lumber, GPO Federal Credit Union branches (except Downtown Utica), Mohawk Valley Federal Credit Union, the MVHS Foundation Office at Faxton Campus, and Remington Federal Credit Union. Some locations have already sold out their allocation of tickets.

The drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 6 p.m., and will be broadcast live on WKTV. The winner will receive a $100,000 cash prize along with additional bonus prizes.

According to MVHS: “MVHS is dedicated to addressing the most challenging health issues of today while preventing and preparing for those to come tomorrow to ensure that every child in our community has a healthy future. Projects such as the $100,000 Miracle Drawing allow MVHS to raise the critical funds needed to continue to provide life-saving care, pediatric medical equipment and offer vital programs and services. All of the money raised stays in our community.”

Funds raised through this initiative are used locally by MVHS to provide pediatric care and purchase necessary medical equipment for children.
