On Friday, April 25, former Whitesboro High School standout Avery Cook’s current college team, the Purdue Boilermakers, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.
The game took place at Illinois Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.
