On Friday, April 4, former Adirondack High School standout Erica Sanford’s current college team, the Utica Pioneers, won 14-6 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Elmira Soaring Eagles.

The game took place at Greenman Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Soaring Eagles this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Greenman Softball Field against Keuka Wolves.
