The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a three-car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Rome New London Road in the Town of Verona, Sheriff Robert Maciol said on Apr. 16.

Authorities have closed the roadway from Zingerline Road to State Route 49 and are asking the public to avoid the area while the investigation continues.

Sheriff Maciol said, “the Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a three-car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Rome New London Road in the Town of Verona. Please avoid the area at this time as the roadway is closed from Zingerline Road to State Route 49. Further details will be released at a later time.”
