Dr. Ayanda Dube has joined Rome Health as a podiatrist, bringing expertise in procedures such as bunionectomies, hammer toe corrections, ingrown toenail treatments, fusions for arthritic joints, and removal of soft tissue masses or tumors in the foot. Dr. Dube also treats foot traumas, plantar fasciitis, and tendinopathies.

“I welcome all patients with foot ailments,” said Dr. Dube. “My goal is to offer personalized care, whether through conservative treatments or surgical solutions, to help patients regain mobility and comfort.”

Dr. Dube previously worked in Rome Health’s nuclear medicine department before returning to serve the community as a podiatric provider. “I always loved how Rome Health felt like a close-knit community with a shared goal of exceptional patient care,” Dr. Dube shared. “Knowing this area lacked practicing podiatrists, I was eager to return and serve the community as a provider.” He explained that his decision was influenced by the need for specialized podiatric care in the region.

His interest in podiatry began during his time working in medical imaging at Rome Health. “I found podiatry to be a great field with options to provide both conservative and surgical treatments,” he explained. “It allows me to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives and the community.”

Dr. Dube’s office is located on the second floor of Rome Health’s Medical Center. Patients are encouraged to use the East Oak Street parking lot for easier access. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 315-338-7040.
