Rome Health has announced the expansion of its cardiac services by introducing two advanced diagnostic imaging exams. The first test, CT Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring, is a non-invasive procedure that evaluates calcium buildup in the coronary arteries. It is aimed at assessing a patient’s risk for coronary artery disease, facilitating preventative care before symptoms emerge. This test is offered on a self-pay basis for $125.
The second service, Nuclear Medicine Cardiac Amyloidosis Imaging, is designed to identify amyloid protein deposits in the heart, a condition that can lead to heart failure if untreated. This advanced imaging is reimbursable by insurance and aims to aid early detection and management of the disease.
