On Saturday, March 8, former Whitesboro High School standout Avery Cook’s current college team, the Purdue Boilermakers, won 11-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.
The Boilermakers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Siebert Field against Minnesota Golden Gophers.
