Description

Old Forge, New York (November 2020) — Finally ready to start that book? Get your pencils out and join international writing coach David Hazard for a Zoom writing workshop, “Bestselling Authors ‘at’ View.” The online workshop, hosted by View, the Center for Arts and Culture in Old Forge, will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on November 21.  Hazard will walk you through the entire writing process, from putting words on the page to publishing and answering questions like: How do you create good writing habits? How do you work with agents and publishers? How do you submit your work to writing contests? What happens when you achieve bestseller or award-winning status? During the session, other bestselling and award-winning authors will join the Zoom chat for a guided discussion about the habits of writers, what it’s like to break into publishing, how to prep for TV or podcast interviews, and so much more! The cost of this class is $30.00 for members and $40.00 for guests.  Pre-registration is required, as space is limited. Register online at ViewArts.org/workshops or call 315-369-6411. David is an international writing coach, who has launched bestselling, award-winning, and acclaimed authors for 40 years - and the founder of View’s Art*iculation Writing Program. One of his specialty areas is helping writers handle issues of mindset, organization, and strategy - and how to evaluate their ideas to be sure they’re on the right track for publishing their work. View is located at 3273 State Route 28 in Old Forge, New York. To learn more about View’s programming, visit ViewArts.org.
