Oneida County Sheriff's Office - A Blossvale Man and a Sandy Creek Woman Were Both Hospitalized Due to Injuries Sustained in a Two-vehicle Crash

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a  Blossvale man and a Sandy Creek woman were both hospitalized due to injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash that occurred just after 4:00 PM on Route 13 in the Town of Vienna.  

Laurence F. Plumley, 82, of Blossvale was operating a 2014 Jeep suburban and was stopped in traffic when his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2015 Chevrolet sedan operated by Gabriell K. LaBarge, 28, of Sandy Creek.  Both vehicles then continued off from the west side of Route 13 and into the ditch.  Plumley sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by VineAll ambulance to Oneida Health.  LaBarge also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported by VineAll ambulance to Oneida Health.  

LaBarge was cited for following too closely and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and issued traffic summons returnable to Vienna Town Court on an upcoming date.  

Members of North Bay Fire & Rescue and VineAll ambulance assisted at the scene.
