Utica to illuminate city hall for pride month celebrations

Mayor Michael P. Galime has announced that starting June 1, 2024, the lights at City Hall and the Utica Place Garage will be illuminated with the colors of the Pride Flag in honor of Pride Month.

"Please join Mayor Galime and administration in recognizing the dedication of the month of June as Pride Month," said a spokesperson for the mayor's office. Mayor Galime acknowledges the Pride Community and invites everyone interested in the Utica Pride Festival, presented by the Oneida County Pride Association, to attend on June 1st from 10 AM to 4 PM at MVCC.

Mayor Galime will deliver a proclamation at the beginning of the event and encourages all attendees to learn about the history of the Pride Community.
