Utica declares snow emergency effective January 2, 2025

The City of Utica has announced a snow emergency due to the expected snowfall. The emergency will begin on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 10:00 pm.

In order to ensure that snow removal and emergency services can operate efficiently, residents are required to remove all vehicles from city streets by the specified time. "Any vehicles left on city streets after 10:00pm on JANUARY 2 are subject to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense," according to the city's statement.

The snow emergency will continue until further notice.
