The United Food and Commercial Workers, District Union Local One (UFCW), and the Communication Workers of America, District One Local 1126 (CWA) have successfully ratified a new Memorandum of Agreement with Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS). This agreement extends their current contract until December 31, 2026. CWA represents Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Technical employees, while UFCW represents Service and Maintenance employees.

Originally set to expire on June 30, 2025, the Master Collective Bargaining Agreement has been extended following negotiations between the unions and MVHS. As per the newly ratified terms, union members will receive a 4 percent pay increase in June 2025 and an additional 3.5 percent increase in January 2026.

MVHS expressed appreciation for the collaborative negotiation process with both CWA and UFCW.
