On Sunday, March 9, former Whitesboro High School standout Avery Cook’s current college team, the Purdue Boilermakers, lost 10-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.
The Boilermakers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 4 p.m. at Alexander Field against Butler Bulldogs.
