The cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails at Val Bialas in Utica have opened for the season. These trails, situated in South Woods and extending through the Eagle, offer a scenic spot for winter sports enthusiasts. Parking is available at the Parks Garage on 233 Valley View Rd. or at the Golf Course.

The City of Utica is also working to make the ski lift at Val Bialas operational this season. If successful, it will provide visitors with access to the ski slopes, enhancing their winter recreation experience. Updates on progress will be announced as they become available.
