On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Whitesboro High School standout Avery Cook’s current college team, the Purdue Boilermakers, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Niagara Purple Eagles.
The game took place at Ting Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Purple Eagles this season.
The Boilermakers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Ting Stadium against Akron Zips.
